Once you have put up a web page that gives all the party details and that reflects your party theme then you still need to let people know that the party invitations are there and where people can respond so instead of using the postal service which is expensive and you can never be assured people will receive their invitation anyway, send them an email with the link to the web page.

Your guests can then find the details on the web page, see who else is coming and start networking with other party guests before the time.

You can even add live video feeds for those who can't make it or go back and add photos, videos and audio so that they don't miss out. This will also be a great reminder for those who did attend the party.

One final tip, make sure you get other people involved in organizing the party - please don't do it all yourself. Ask people to help you and then you can also co-ordinate their efforts from your web page. You can have a task list there saying who is doing what and give them a budget to work with.

Create party invitations online that really get people talking and that will also be a reminder after the time of your great party.

Use the web effectively..I mean internet .. You will be partying all time..!!
